Guetzeli

They taste a lot like Butterspekulatius, not sure if it is intended.

Ingredients

  • 250g flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 150g sugar
  • 150g butter
  • 1 egg

This resulted in two sheets full of cookies.

  • Original recipe (Swiss, written in German): 1 Teig, 5 Guetzli
  • Dough is very sticky when warm, so you want to cool it for about the time I estimated. If you cool it too long, it gets very hard to roll out. Though you could probably roll it out mostly before you put it in the fridge.
